No Permission Needed

Have you ever had a dream, desire or yearning that emanates from deep within you? Do you recognize that it is your heart, your soul calling to you? If so, are you living those wishes out in your life?

I sure hope that you are doing just as you dreamed! But if you are not don’t tune out! You are exactly who I want to talk with today!

Many of us have experienced the longing that I described and we are not living those hopes out in our lives. Why do you suppose that might be true? Fear could play a factor however I believe that some of us are waiting for permission. We worry about what our mate, our children, our family, our friends, even people we have yet to meet will think if we step out of the lines that have been drawn for us. We want love and acceptance and so we wait.

Here’s the thing; waiting for others to grant permission on your dreams, desires and yearning is like asking them to breathe for you. There is just no way possible that they can make that happen! Only you and the Divine have a true understanding of what your heart and soul are calling you to undertake. If you are an adult there is no need to have someone else grant you permission to follow your dreams. As long as what you want to do doesn’t cause abuse to you or another, you are free to pursue what calls to you.

Think of it this way; the stallion in the open pasture never asks, “Is it okay if I run and leap right now?” No way! That would be silly. It feels a delight inside and expresses this in leaping and running. It does it for the simply joy of being.

There is no permission needed other than our own to discover the beauty and happiness in living our dreams.

Dreams Manifested: Short Story Published!

I am beyond excited today! Today is the first time I’ve had the chance to see one of my stories in print! There is no describing the elation I felt when I saw the book cover!

Some time ago I fell head over heels in love with writing fiction that has a message for the reader. This publication represents the dawning of that dream into reality! I know that many other incredible things will follow. Never give up on your dreams! Ever!!!

I am sharing it here so that you may enjoy it too. I had fun writing this short story. It makes me smile!!! I hope it lifts you as well and inspires you to continue to reach for your own dream.

Here is a brief description of the story: “In this whimsical short story a Sea Witch teaches the reader some lessons of the sea and of life. If you are ready to experience some Magic and transformation within your life this book may provide some tools.” It is available as an eBook through this link: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OGSASKO

Dreams

There are those who say, “If you have a dream, follow it.” I agree! I’ll add that following your dream is an inward journey. It involves consistent work on yourself. You will have to separate the opinions and advice of others from what you know is your dream. Often you have to get clear on your dream and also on what is needed to make it a reality. Many times doubt about your dream manifesting will creep into your awareness. Trust is required to see you through to the realization of your dream. So is faith in yourself and the Universe (known by many names) in bringing your dream forth.

It may take longer than you anticipate for your dream to come true, but don’t give up! Along the way the vision you have for your dream may change. Be open. The road may not always be easy or smoothly paved however you will get there. You might be scared to follow your dream. Do it even though you are afraid.

I think that our dreams grow us. They give us the chance to share with others so that they might be inspired to go for their dreams too. We encourage each other. I’m committed to following my dreams! Doing so has deepened me and given me joy. My life has become richer and I am grateful.
