Friday’s Flirt – Anticipation Uses Your Imagination & Your Senses

Anticipation is a powerful tool to flirting because it prompts you to use both your imagination and your senses. It allows you to dream up possibilities for how you are going to flirt, when you plan on flirting, and it includes the person you want to flirt with to join you in your visualization.

Anticipation is a daydream that brings forward the feelings that you wish to experience during your flirtation. You allow yourself to envision being playfully flirtatious and relax into the feelings that arise at the time. Doing this gives you inspiration and the sensations that are present remind you that flirting is fun, delightful, and engaging. 

Next take the initiative by acting on what you anticipated and imagined. Bring it into your real life. Do not worry or be too shy to try it. Simply go with the feelings you had while anticipating flirting. Let yourself play and see what happens. If the person you decided to flirt with does not act exactly as you imagined that is okay. Be open and flexible. Hold the intention of being playful and expect to enjoy yourself. 

For example, I am anticipating having a dance party with my husband tonight. In my imagination we are dancing, flirting, laughing, and having fun together. I feel excited, and at ease in my body when I think of dancing with him. Now it is up to me to invite him to join me dancing. If he seems tired or something else, I can flirtatiously tease him into dancing with me. It can be that easy. 

Remember most men are more than willing to play along with you. All you need to do is issue the offer by flirting.
