Conversations happening through text messages can sometimes be challenging. It may be difficult to understand the tone that someone is trying to convey. Adding flirting to texts might be tricky unless you consider the tips offered here.
It is possible to learn the secrets to sending engaging, flirty texts. Ideally, it is better to already know the person before sending a flirtatious text. That way they know how you speak in person. For example, in text if I say, “Sure thing, Sugar” they hear my voice flirtatiously saying the word, Sugar, because I have used it to flirt with them in person. I have a southern accent, and I will purposely draw out the word or slow it down. I always say it with a slow grin. So, if I use it in a text message to them, they have context for how I am engaging them.
You could use emojis to flirt. Maybe you include a kiss emoji, a winking gif, or other icon on your phone that emphasizes what you are saying in the text. There are loads of options available on your phone.
Think about your intention before you decide to add flirtation to a text. Do you want to keep it playful, make it suggestive, or something else? You could easily type in, playful flirtation, on the phone icon that lets you search images for your text. Choose the one that fits your purpose. You can make the text whatever you want so long as it matches your intention.
Review your boundaries around flirting when texting too. Remember you set the tone for every flirt by being clear on your boundaries and holding them.
